Personally, I think Chronicles looks like butt. Everything looks like "butt" to you, Sir Scavalot. Whenever I check out the forums, I just look at the dates of the newer posts to determine whether I have read them or not. If they were posted that day or the day before, then I know there is a...

So what might the change look like? Would the climate depend upon the terrain of a room, or would new room flags be added?

Here is a short list of why pants might exist... 1. When we come into the world bare-bottomed, what is the first thing that happens? Someone smacks you on your rosy cheeks, that's what! We spend the rest of our lives trying to protect our posteriors with things like pants. 2. Some people say that pa...

Personaly, I think there could be that really rare moment when snow does indeed fall in Hell. You know, when soaring piglets sprinkle icy flakes down on the fiery pit. This usually comes true when my ex-girlfriend admits she was wrong. On second thought, maybe it doesn't snow it Hell after all...

Seriously bad weather should have an effect on movement. Perhaps, a powerful storm will act like a random current and blow you into a random open adjacent room (or closed ones if pass door). Maybe the extreme wind only increases the move points taken, even when flying. Maybe all of this is worse whe...

Ok, so elves level just fine for experienced players, but what about the newer players? I suppose the answer is that any race would be difficult to level for a newbie. I have heard more people complain that elves are the most difficult to level of all the races. Perhaps that has changed now. *shrug*...

It is a lie to think that any drug can enhance your consciousness. You are buying into something that has never and will never be true. Do you sincerely believe what you are saying? Do you understand what you are saying? Just because some ancient (or not so ancient) religious fanatics have used drug...

I wrote this monster post, but it got lost somehow, which is probably just as well. All races can easily regen hp in a great many ways. It's up to you to figure out how. Mana can be regained in only one way (two, if you count spending literaly millions of gold at a healer). Every argument you guys h...

Stepping aside from the fantasy discussion a moment... Mind-altering drugs will never help you down the road of understanding. They just alter your mind, sometimes permanantly. Only because alcohol reduces inhibition would some people feel it is easier to express themselves. Alcohol has no direct ef...

Change alignment can most certainly be annoying, but it is a simple thing to fix. I think there should be some way to limit the "use" of this bad thing. Lairian's suggestion for a time duration does sound interesting, but how would the spell effect future alignment changes? Would it stop any change ...

The open minds quote does seem far more harsh than I felt or intended. I am sorry if anyone was offended by it. I will not change it so that other people will see what we are talking about. I assure you I never intended to insult anyone. Lairian, you sense a contradiction and yet fail to explain it....

...with hands and arms hampered by armor. Since I was the one quoted, then I feel the necessity to defend my opinion. No one here has suggested that the game is perfectly realistic, nor has anyone (to my knowledge) claimed that it should be perfectly realistic. However, there has to be some kind of ...
