Amystery was one of the most reknowned kender of her time. With a thirst for adventure which couldn't be satiated, he would often go adventuring into unknown lands. On one of these adventures, Amy wandered into a forest of gargantuan trees. After traveling deeper into the forest, it began to grow dark. When it was nearly pitch black, he tried to light a torch, but the darkness smothered the light and put it out.
Suddenly, a high pitched shrieking was heard all around, getting closer and closer. Something grabbed Amy out of the dark and launched itself into the sky. Now, kenders rarely experience fear, but you can imagine that he was feeling a little worried by then.
Soon, a tall black tower appeared in the distance, and the creature carrying him dropped him onto a balcony, then settled nearby. After a few moments to recollect himself, Amy became curious about the creature, and thoughtfully examined it. As the creature approached him, Amy could recognize the figure.. the leathery wings attacked to a humanoid body with features as rigid and cold as stone.. it was a gargoyle, standing 7 feet tall! Then, the demon stopped, and the mists began to gather in one place. The mist took on the form of a dark elf. Dark elves are very powerful mages, and they don't have a reputation of being nice. Actually, they are known for performing cruel spells on hapless victims.
This particular dark elf took pleasure in torturing kender, but before he could *poof* send Amy to his torture chamber, the kender turned and carelessly swung his walking staff, catching the dark elf in it's middle and toppling him off the balcony. Stunned, it plummets to it's death with no time to cast a 'fly' spell.

The gargoyle sensed it's masters death, and didn't know what to do, so it switched its loyalty to Amy. It led Amy to the dark elf's study chamber, where all sorts of magical items were stored. Amy found an ice-blue wand that sparken an interest in him, so he picked it up. On the side was written "Exalph". With the wand pointed towards himself, Amy muttered "Exalph", and *zapp*, the wand enveloped him in a puff of smoke. His muscles bulged, and he was endowed with godlike powers. Amystery had a good heart, and became an immortal of the Barren Realms, keeping the peace and protecting the weak.
