Leiland's Story
Suddenly there was a flash of light and a beautiful winged
creature appeared before Leiland. Seeming engulfed in flames, yet breathtakingly
beautiful, Leiland was speechless before the empress. Kiri smiled at Leiland,
“So you have finally decided to come find your home. Welcome Leiland! We
have been waiting for you to join us for some time.”
“Where am I and who is us? My village is my home.” Leiland replied very confused by Kiri’s words.
“You are in the land of the gods and goddesses of all of Barren Realms. Could it be true that you are still unaware of your power?”
“Well, I do know that I have been blessed by the butterflies, that they gave me their wings and they assist me when I am in need, but I never thought of that as having power” Leiland replied.
Kiri chuckled politely, “My dear they assist you because you are their goddess and they recognize that in you. You were born immortal, pure of heart, and of good nature. The butterflies worship you for who you were born to be.”
Amazed at this information Leiland fainted. To this day Leiland serves the Barren Realms with her butterflies at her side and she can still be found around her hometown of Calathar, giving aid to those in need.
